Metalcraft XL5+ Option 2: Embossing & End Forging Kit for Metalcraft XL5+ Power Bender
Metalcraft XL5+ Option 2: Embossing & End Forging Kit for Metalcraft XL5+ Power Bender
Amazing Option Pack for the MC732 Metalcraft XL5+ Power Bender to make crimped fish tailed ends and embossed edges to create stylish wrought iron bars.
Using the XL5+ Metal Bender with this option allows one to put distinct V's or nicks into metal and gradual curved notches in metal. Option also includes forging patterns to create attractive "fish tailed ends".
The Embossing/End Forging blocks each have 2 different embossing patterns for creating decorative effects in bars and tubes. This operation is performed cold (no need to preheat the metal). The pointed faces put distinct V's or nicks into the edges of flat bar, on the faces of square tube, or on corners of square bar. The curved faces put more gradual curved notches in the edge of flat strip and the face of tubes to give a hammered effect.
The Embossing/End Forging blocks each have 2 different end forging patterns for creating a decorative crimped effect on the hammered ends of bars. Create attractive "fish tailed ends" for use in the center of scrolls or as a decorative feature on the end of flat strip, square bar, and round rod. There is a small pattern for metal up to 3/4" wide and a large pattern for metal from 1" to 1 3/8" wide. (preheating of metal required).
