Metalcraft Practical Punch & Shear Tool
Metalcraft Practical Punch and Shear Tool is a great 2 in 1 machine for cutting (shearing) and a metal punch that will easily punch 1/8" diameter holes in steel strip up to 1/8" thickness.
The hole punching feature complements the riveting capability on our Practical Riveting Bending & Rolling Tool so that metalwork can be joined together quickly and easily. By placing the hot rolled flat mild metal steel strip in the slotted and specially machined and hardened punch block and then push handle downward (directionally toward punch block), you can quickly and easily punch fixing holes without the need for a powered drill which can tricky to use on curved flat or non flat sections.
When used as a cutter (shearing) you place hot rolled mild steel strip, solid round rod, or solid square bar into the aperture between the specially hardened upper and lower cutting blades - then simply pull the handle toward yourself (directionally away from punch block) to produce a neat cut in complete safety.
This Practical Punch Shear Tool version DOES NOT come with Tape Measuring Device.
